If you lose your hair a few months after your pregnancy is over, don't worry because it's not permanent. Hair loss is a sign that your body is getting back to normal since some of your body functions were abnormal during that time. It may seem upsetting to find a lot more hair than usual falling out of your head, but there's no reason to fear, because your hair will grow back in again as it returns to the way it was pre-pregnancy. Many women take this time to test out a new hairstyle which helps mask the problem. However, it's also possible that you'll be so busy with your new baby that you have little time to think about your own appearance.
You should take comfort in the fact that you've brought a new life into the world. After being pregnant, it's very normal to lose your hair. Many women don't notice the increased hair loss while they were pregnant. Because of your hormone change, you wouldn't be losing about 100 strands of hair a day like normal. While pregnant, it's very common for your hair to become thicker During your pregnancy, the amount of hair you retained was more than normal. However, a few months after birth, the hair will start falling out like it was supposed to.
You can plan ahead for this event since you now know that it's possible. One option for women is to wear a wig, while others find pretty scarves will do the trick. Many women just choose to live with the hair loss since it's perfectly normal. You should prepare for it before it happens since you know that it's possible. Whatever you decide to do is up to you.
